SPLINTER is the first game officially published by End Transmission Games LLC. It was designed in the summer of 2008, playtested in the winter of 2008-2009 and published in March of 2012. The high concept elevator pitch is “D&D meets The Running Man/Ready Player One/Battle Royale/The Hunger Games (take your pick based on your age and tastes) meets Dark City on acid” but it’s actually even more of a complicated mindscrew than that, as it’s rather literally an RPG within an RPG. It owes an enormous debt of gratitude to Dark City and especially to Heroes Die by Matthew Woodring Stover for its very existence.

THE SINGULARITY SYSTEM is a setting neutral science fiction roleplaying game that’s designed as a highly modular toolkit for creating or importing your own science fiction settings. It can do any setting you like, whether it’s one from another game, another piece of media, or one you dream up yourself, although it has a bias towards military science fiction. Add-ons are designed as plug and play, crunch only, and very slim. You want some trans-human augmentation in your Singularity game? You got it.
